Chain
Case
(a)
Check
fill/level
plug
for
damage.
If
signs
of
wear
or
cracks
are
visible,
replace
plug
with
new
plug,
part
number
1-1024.

check
lubricant
in
chain
case,
remove
check/fill
plug
and
look
for
lubricant
on
the
internal
components
of
the
chain
case.
If
no
lubricant
is
visible,
contact
a
SNAPPER
dealer
for
service.

Boots
Check
axle
boots
for
signs
of
wear
or
cracks.
If
cracks
or
wear
is
visible
contact
a
SNAPPER
dealer
for
service.

FILTER
Service
fuel
filter
as
instructed
below.
1.
Turn
fuel
valve
to
"OFF".

Pull
fuel
tank
out
of
retaining
bracket
and
hold
fuel
tank
below
fuel
filter.
3.
Remove
hose
clamps
from
fuel
filter.
4.
Remove
fuel
lines
from
filter.
Discard
filter.
5.
Install
new
filter.
Part
number
1-4359.

Reinstall
fuel
tank
into
retaining
