position.

adjusting

key
removal.

On/Running

lights.

On/Running
without

SAFETY
START
SWITCHES
The
function
of
these
switches
is
to
allowthe
engine
to
start
when
the
following
safe
starting
conditions
exist.
1.
Operator
seated
in
tractor's
seat.
2.
Clutch/Brake
pedal
depressed.
3.
Front
PTO
switch
in
OFF
position.
4.
Rear
PTO
(if
tractor
so
equipped)
lever
in
OFF
POSITION.
The
mechanism
controlling
condition.

is

the
engine
ignition
circuit.
The
mechanisms
controlling

are
in
the
engine
cranking
circuit.
Therefore,
it
is
important
to
remember
that
ALL
these
safe
starting
conditions

exist

the
engine
will
start.

engine
will
crank
over
using
the
starter
but
will
not
start
if
safe
starting
condition.
