STANDARD
BLADE(S)
Blades
should
be
kept
sharp
at
all
times.
When
the
blade(s)
are
dull,
cut
grass
will
be
ragged
and
lawn
will
usually
turn
brown.
Sharpen
standard
blades
as
follows:
Move
tractor
to
a
firm,
level
surface.
Turn
engine
"OFP.
Raise
hood,
remove
spark
plug
wire
from
spark
plug
and
secure
wire
away
from
plug.
Remove
mowing
deck
from
tractor.
Remove
mower
blade(s)
Inspect
for
excessive
wear
or
damage.
WARNING
Never
use
a
blade
that
shows
signs
of
excessive
wear
or
damage.
Refer
to
Figure
52
for
standard
blade
wear
limits.
Sharpen
standard
mower
blade(s)
at
25°
angle
±3°.

Figure
