5-5 The Adjustment of the Machine Head Angle and the Center Distance of the
Two Machine heads

1. Adjust the machine head angle
Slacken the cap headed screw (3) and remove the pin (2). Turn the machine head to the angle
required. (Note: The position of the pin is suitable for 0∘and 90∘.)
2. Adjust the center distance of the two machine heads
To adjust the position of a module on the bed there are two adjusting levers on the front of the
module. Loosen the lever (4) and turn adjusting hand wheel (1) on the end of the bed to move
head to the required position. The distance from the centre of the machine to the centre of the
bend radius is shown on the indicators mounted behind the hand wheel. Tighten the two adjusting
levers after the head has been set. Do the same for the other module.
NOTE: For minimum centre distance of radii, refer to the Technical Data section.
