Remove the nuts from the DC terminals.

Strip the wire insulation from the end of the DC wires.
NOTE
Before connecting aluminum wires to lugs:
a. Remove Oxide from the exposed wires.
b. Clean with Isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
c. Coat wires with an electrical connection grease/material.
5.
Crimp the lugs on the DC wires and use heat shrink to insulate the lug barrels.
CAUTION!
For aluminum wires, USE ONLY Bi-metal lugs or aluminum lugs that support
copper and aluminum conductors.
For copper wires, USE ONLY copper tin-plated lugs.
