TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
Machine is not working
No ground coffee coming from grinder
The grinder makes a loud,
clattering noise
Grinder does not start when micro
switch is pressed. «Filter Size» lights
are cycling through single and double
POSSIBLE CAUSES
The unit appears to be «ON» but the
machine ceases to operate
No coffee beans in hopper
Grinder blocked or jammed by foreign object
Grinding duct blocked
Water/moisture in grinding chamber
+ grinding duct
Bean hopper safety interlock is open
(hopper is not correctly in place)
WHAT TO DO
The safety thermal-cut may have activated due to
the pump or grinder overheating. Turn the machine
off and allow it to cool for about 30-60 minutes.
Fill hopper
Immediately deactivate grinder. Demount bean
hopper and remove blockade in the grinding
duct. Remove top grinding burr and clean lower
grinding burr. See p. 167, „Cleaning the Conical
Burr Grinder“.
Clean grinding chamber and duct. See p. 168,
„Removing Blockade in the Conical Burr Grinder“
Clean grinding chamber and duct. See p. 168,
„Removing Blockade in the Conical Burr Grinder“
Remove hopper, check for any debris then replace
the hopper into the correct location
