Additional Information
USB device
The connected USB device cannot be
charged.
Select a function other than tuner
function or turn on the CD player/USB
device power. See “To improve disc
loading performance” (page 34).
The connected iPod is being charged
but the USB device is not, when both
are connected at the same time.

USB device.
e following problems may have
occurred.
e USB device is full.
e number of les and folders on
the USB device has reached the
upper limit.
e USB device is write-protected.
Transferring is stopped before it is
nished.
You are using an unsupported USB
device. Check the information on the
websites about compatible USB devices
(page 17).
e USB device is not formatted
correctly. Refer to the USB device
operation manual for how to format.
Turn o the system and remove the
USB device. If the USB device has a
power switch, turn the USB device
o and then on again aer removing
it from the system. en perform
transferring again.
If the transfer and erase operations
are repeated multiple times, the le
structure within the USB device
becomes fragmented. Refer to the USB
device operation manual for how to
deal with this problem. If the problem
persists, contact your nearest Sony
dealer.
Transferring music to a USB device
results in an error.
