ADAPTATION
TO
THE
LOCAL
MAINS
SUPPLY
The
PS-4300
comes
in
two
types.
Type
|
operates
on
either
110,
127,
220
or
240V
ac~,
and
is
supplied
with
a
detachable
power
cord.
Type
li
operates
on
either
100,
120,
220
or
240
V
ac
with
the
permanentiy
attached
power
cord.
Before
connecting
to
mains
supply,
check
that
the
voltage
selector
is
set
to
your
local
mains
supply.
lf
it
is
not
the
same,
change
the
voltage
selector
setting
as
follows
:
@
Check
that
the
unit
is
disconnected
from
the
mains
supply.
@
Remove
the
cover
of
the
selector.
Loosen
the
smaller
screw
on
the
cover
but
do
not
remove
it
from
the
cabinet.
Remove
the
other
screw
on
the
cover.
Then
turn
the
cover
around
the
smaller
screw
so
that
you
can
unplug
the
selector.

Pull
out
the
voltage
selector
plug
and
reinsert
it
so
that
the
top
arrow
mark
of
the
plug
points
to
the
proper
voltage
marking.
@
After
changing
the
voltage,
reset
the
cover.
A
line
frequency
change
is
not
necessary
since
your
turntable
system
is
furnished
with
a
dc
servo-controlled
motor.

WARNING:
THIS
APPARATUS
MUST
BE
EARTHED
AT
THE
TERMINALS
IN
YOUR
3-PIN
PLUG
AS
FOLLOWS:
IMPORTANT:
The
wire
in
this
mains
lead
are
coloured
in
ac-
cordance
with
following
code:
Green-and-yellow:
Earth
(safety
earth)
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
As
the
colours
of
the
wires
in
the
mains
lead
of
the
apparatus
may
not
correspond
with
the
coloured
markings
identifying
the
terminals
in
your
plug,
proceed
as
follows:
The
wire
which
is
coloured
green-and-yellow
must
be
connected
to
the
terminal
in
the
plug
which
is
marked
with
the
letter
E
or
by
the
earth
symbol
=
or
coloured
green
or
green-and-
yellow.
The
wire
which
is
coloured
blue
must
be
connected
to
the
terminal
which
is
marked
with
the
letter
N
or
coloured
black.
The
wire
which
is
coloured
brown
must
be
connected
to
the
terminal
which
is
marked
with
the
letter
L
or
coloured
red.

Avant
de
connecter,
vérifier
que
le
sélecteur
de
tension
a
bien
été
ajusté
a
la
tension
du
secteur
local.
Si
la
tension
n’est
pas
la
méme,
réajuster
comme
suit:

Vérifier
que
le
cordon
d’alimentation
soit
bien
débranché.
@
Retirer
!e
couvercle
du
sélecteur.
Desserrer,
sans
l’enlever,
la
petite
vis
du
couvercle.
Enlever
l'autre
vis
du
couvercle.
Faire
tourner
le
couvercle
autour
de
la
petite
vis
pour
avoir
accés
au
sélecteur
de
tension.
@
Retirer
le
sélecteur
et
le
remettre
en
place
de
telle
fagon
que
la
fleche
soit
dirigée
vers
le
chiffre
de
la
tension
adéquate.
@
Remettre
le
couvercle
en
place
aprés
la
modification.
L'adaptation
du
PS-4300
4a
la
fréquence
du
secteur
n’est
pas
nécessaire.
Il
est
équipé
d’un
servo-
moteur
contrdélé
a
courant
continu.
