Network Update
You can update the system software for the PSP® system using the Network
Update feature.
For details on updates, see "PSP
® updates" ( page 262).
Network update process
Notice
During a download/update:
– Do not remove the Memory Stick Duo™.
– Do not turn off the system.
– Do not disconnect the AC adaptor.
If an update is canceled before completion, the system software may be damaged, requiring
servicing to repair or exchange.
Network Update
Connect to the network
Connect using a wireless LAN access point.
Turn on the WLAN switch on the left side of the PSP
® system.
Download (receive data)
Download update data from the network. The update data is saved on the
Memory Stick Duo™ inserted in the system.
Update (software update)
Update the system software using the data saved on a Memory Stick Duo™.
