Overview

The Sony Stereo Bluetooth® Headset SBH60 is designed to enhance convenience for users on the go, offering a versatile audio solution for various Bluetooth® compatible devices. This headset can be seamlessly integrated with Android™ powered devices like phones and tablets, as well as other Bluetooth® enabled devices such as non-Android phones, computers, or music players. Its primary function is to facilitate control over incoming and outgoing phone calls and to provide a high-quality audio experience for listening to music.

Function Overview

The SBH60 headset serves as a comprehensive audio accessory, allowing users to manage phone calls and enjoy music wirelessly. When paired with a compatible device, it enables hands-free communication and entertainment. The headset supports both wireless Bluetooth® connectivity and a wired mode, offering flexibility based on user preference or battery status.

Hardware Overview

The headset features several key components for intuitive operation:

  • Music key/Call key (1): This multi-functional button allows users to play or pause the current media file, answer incoming calls, and reject incoming calls by pressing and holding.
  • Volume key (2): Located conveniently, this key enables users to adjust the volume up or down during calls or when listening to music.
  • 3.5 mm audio jack (3): This port provides an option for wired connection, allowing the headset to be used with an audio cable when wireless connectivity is not desired or available.
  • Micro USB port (4): This port is used for charging the headset's battery with a USB cable.
  • Ear cushion (5): Designed for comfort, the ear cushions contribute to the overall audio experience.
  • Notification light (6): This light provides visual feedback on the headset's status:
    • Flashing red light indicates a low battery level.
    • Flashing blue light signifies that the headset is in pairing mode.
    • Flashing white light indicates an incoming call.
  • Power key (7): Used to turn the headset on or off by pressing and holding. A brief press when the headset is on activates a notification light that displays the battery level in different colors:

    • Green light: High battery level
  • Microphone (8): Essential for phone calls, ensuring clear voice transmission.
  • NFC detection area (9): This area facilitates quick and easy pairing with other NFC-enabled devices through a simple touch.
