Recording audio CDs to the hard disk drive
in SonicStage Ver.1.5, the hard disk drive is called the "Music Drive". The Music Drive
manages all audio data stored by SonicStage.
I Music Drive
I Insert the audio CD that you want to record into the CD-ROM drive of your
computer.
]'he CD window appears in the display.
Note
When you record an audio CD from your CD-ROM drive for
lhe first time, the "CD Drive Optimization" dialog box
appears when you insert the audio CD. Clicking [Starq
initiales a check of the CD-ROM drive to verify that the CD-
ROM drive is able to perform the recording properly.
2 Click [,'-dmm_'l.
The recording navigation window* appears in _he
display.
*The recording navigation window makes it easy to make a
recording. Simply by doing Ill, [] and [] in the next step,
you cm_ select l]_e audio source in l]_e left panel and the
recording destinalion in lhe right panel
Select _CD) for [Ill Sources] mad *_: (Musm Drive) for [1_1 Targets],
then click I_! _ [Jump to Record Window].
The display changes to lhe recording window.
