Do not use any type of acid sanitizer. Acid attacks chrome.
7.4. PREVENT PUMP DAMAGE
WARNING !
Incorrect operating procedures may cause damage or rapid wear to pump
parts, especially the rotors and shafts. To obtain maximum service life of
pump parts.
To obtain maximum service life of pump parts:
Do not operate the pumps "dry" (without water or product present).
Do not use screwdriver or other prying type tools when removing rotors.
Use the rotor removal tool provided.
Do not operate product pump against excessive discharge pressure.
- Keep discharge lines short as possible.
- Use large as possible discharge lines.
- Use few as possible elbows, tees, and/or valves in discharge line
- Use wide sweep albows wherever possible in the discharge line.
7.5. PREVENT DASHER DAMAGE
Incorrect operating and/or maintenance procedures may cause severe
damage to the dasher and expensive replacement. To obtain maximum
service life of the dasher:
Do not allow the freezer to "freeze-up".
Do not continue to operate the freezer when the bearings in the front
dasher head or the beater support are worn beyond recommended
tolerances.
