6. MACHINE NOISE EMISSION
Noise sources of the machine are:
♦ dasher motor
♦ pump motor
♦ Refrigerating compressor
Measurements made on freezer CS have given the following results:
Machine with built in refrigerating compressor:
• equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level at
workstations is from 76 to 83 dB (A)
• peak C-weighted instantaneous sound pressure value at workstations
is lower than 130 dB.
Machine connected to refrigeration unit centralized:
• continuous sound pressure level equivalent “A”, at workstation, is
from 74 to 76 dB (A).
