Function Description:

This head unit serves as a central hub for various audio, video, and connectivity functions in a vehicle. Its primary functions include:

  • Radio: AM/FM radio with support for different regions (USA, Europe, Eastern Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Australia). It allows users to store preset stations and offers features like RDS, TA, AF, and PTY (where available).
  • Multimedia Playback: Supports MP3/MP4 playback from USB and SD card sources. It can browse folders and file lists for audio, video, and picture files.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Enables BT Audio streaming and BT Phone functions. Users can pair their mobile phones for hands-free calling, access call history, contacts, and manage auto-answer settings.
  • Smartphone Integration: Fully supports Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for seamless integration with compatible smartphones. This allows users to access navigation, music, messages, and voice control (Siri or Google Assistant) directly from the head unit's display.
  • AV Input: Features an AV IN interface for connecting external audio/video sources via RCA cables.

It also includes Balance/Fader adjustments, Subwoofer Output control (On/Off), Subwoofer Filter (50Hz/80Hz/120Hz/160Hz), and Subwoofer Level (-10 to +10). A LOUD On/Off setting is also available.
  • Bluetooth Phone Features: Allows making and receiving calls, accessing phonebook and call history, and adjusting microphone gain.
  • Faceplate Adjustment: The faceplate can be adjusted vertically and tilted to optimize viewing angles.
  • Parking Wire Connection: For safety, video programs can only be viewed on the monitor when the parking brake is engaged. The parking wire must be connected to the brake signal.
  • Reversing Line Connection: Connects to the taillight for automatic display of the rear-view camera feed when reverse gear is engaged.
