If the diode on the charger flashes red, an error has occurred during charging. If this is the case, please remove the charger from the
power socket immediately and contact your Authorized Specialized Dealer right away. Please only ride your bicycle again when this
error has been corrected.
Charge the battery in a dry place and ensure there is sufficient ventilation. Neither the battery nor the charger should be covered during the
charging process. A lot of heat can be created during the charging process and such heat has to be able to escape. Otherwise this could lead
to a danger of overheating and a possible fire hazard. Specialized recommends charging under supervision of the user.
If any issues arise with the startup, restart the system. For additional information, please refer to the “Starting the System” section
(page 17).
