This document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic
instructions for the disassembly of Spectralink Butterfly Handset to remove components and materials
requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU Directive 2002/96/EC Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE).

Disassembly Instructions

Remove Battery Cover

Use small opening on top of handset with paperclip or screwdriver to lift off battery cover.

Remove Batteries

Take out the batteries from the handset.

Remove Housing Cover

Remove 6 screws (TX 6) and separate the bottom cover from the housing.

Remove PCB

Take the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) out of the housing.

Dispose Batteries and PCB

Dispose of the batteries and PCB separately.
