Remove the screw that holds the under-engine guard in place.
Carefully detach the under-engine protection from the motor unit.
Remove screws indicated by green arrows; loosen the red arrow screw.
Remove the five crown securing screws and detach the crown.
Remove screws indicated by green arrows; loosen the red arrow screw.
Rotate motor downwards, being careful not to damage wires.
Identify the speed sensor connector indicated by the arrow.
Gently pull upwards to disconnect the speed sensor connector without pulling wires.
Connect the red wire to the right male pin and the black wire to the left male pin.
Slide heat shrink tubing over the connection and heat to shrink.
Connect the fork-shaped connector to the speed sensor connector.
Slide heat shrink tubing over the connection and heat for shrinkage.
Place the device in a protected position and close the motor in reverse order.
Avoid pinching or damaging wires and applying pressure to the electronic device.
