Why won't my Spektrum Receiver bind to the transmitter?
    • R
      Ricardo WhiteJul 27, 2025
If your Spektrum Receiver isn't binding to the transmitter, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the transmitter isn't too close to the aircraft during binding; move it a few feet away and try again. * Ensure that the bind plug is correctly installed in the bind port. * The aircraft or transmitter may be too close to a large metal object, wireless source, or another transmitter. Move to another location and try binding again. * Verify that the flight battery and transmitter batteries are sufficiently charged. * Confirm that the bind button is held long enough during the bind process. If not, power off and repeat the bind process.

If your Spektrum Receiver aircraft isn't responding to the throttle but responds to other controls, consider the following: * Ensure the throttle stick and throttle trim are at the lowest setting. * Confirm the throttle servo travel is 100% or greater. * Check if the throttle channel is reversed and reverse it on the transmitter (with the battery disconnected from the aircraft). * Make sure the motor is properly connected to the ESC.
