6.5 MANUAL CYCLE
Select “Manual” from the menu;
It is possible to perform manually the following operations:
− RECOVERY
− VACUUM
− OIL INJECTION
− TRACER INJECTION
− CHARGING
Note: to perform the vacuum it is necessary that the a/c system does not contain gas;
To perform the oil injection (or the tracer injection) and the gas recharge it is necessary that the system is
vacuumed (perform the vacuum before);
Gas Charging in a system under pressure
To add or remove gas after performing a recharge, follow the instructions in chapter 6.4 “Manual WSC
function”.
Pressing F in stand-by mode you can visualized the last operations.
Refer to chapter 6.0 and 6.1 for the menu selection.
6.6 HALF-AUTOMATIC CYCLE
Select “Half-automatic” from the menu;
- Set the VACUUM TIME and VACUUM TEST.
It is possible to perform manually the following operations:
− RECOVERY
− OIL DISCHARGE
− VACUUM
− LEAK TEST
If no leaks are detected, the display will show the message “OIL INJECTION”.
Charge the desired quantity of oil and gas to be charged
Refer to chapter 6.0 and 6.1 for the menu selection.
Pressing F in stand-by mode you can visualized the last operations.
PLEASE NOTE: The charging is performed simultaneously through high and low pressure, if the
pressure of the internal bottle is high (> 9 bar), it is advisable to perform the charging through the
high pressure only by closing (also partially) the low pressure tap.
Finally perform the pressure test (see par. 6.4) with taps closed. After the test, disconnect the
couplings from the a/c system, open the taps of the station and perform a manual recovery to
discharge pressure from the hoses.
If some leak is detected inside the a/c system (only if the leak test was previously set), on the display
will appear the error message “insufficient vacuum sealing”, in this case you will have to find the leak
by using a leakseeker lamp or an electronic leakseeker (accessories on request). Press “C” to exit.
PLEASE NOTE: If during the oil discharge a pressure increase occurs (> 0,5 bar), the station will go on to
the recovery phase automatically
PLEASE NOTE: If during the vacuum phase a pressure increase occurs (> 0,5 bar), the station will stop
and the display will show an error message. In this case perform a recovery before
proceeding.
PLEASE NOTE: To print out the data see the paragraph “Data printing”.
NOTE: During the vacuum and the leak test the display visualizes the vacuum level in mbar.
NOTE: In presence of incondensable gases (and/or over-pressure), the compressor stops automatically
(13,5bar +/- 0,5bar) and the apposite discharge electro-valve opens. The compressor restarts and the
electro-valve closes automatically when the pressure goes below 10,5bar (+/-0,5bar)!
