For systems with a standard tank, ensure it's not waterlogged; if it is, drain it to the level of the air volume control. Verify the AVC isn't defective and that there are no leaks. For precharged tanks, disconnect power, open faucets, and bleed tank pressure. Use a tire gauge to check air pressure, ensuring it's 2 PSI lower than the pressure switch's cut-in setting. Check the air valve for leaks and replace the core if needed. If you suspect leaky pipes, a leaky foot valve, a low water level in the well, or a clogged ejector/impeller, consult a well professional.
