Why are there no alarms for water, oil, or fuel being displayed on my Stack Monitor?
    • B
      Brandon HerringSep 1, 2025
If there are no alarms for water, oil, or fuel temperatures and pressures being displayed, it could be because all the alarms have been switched off (switch on the required alarms) or the engine RPM gate value is set too high (reset the RPM gate to a lower value).

How to fix peak values not updating on Stack Monitor?
    • A
      Ashley WillisAug 31, 2025
If peak values are not being updated, the gate value may be set too high (change Gate RPM in the display configuration menu) or the internal memory battery may be dead (return unit to Stack for new battery service).

Why is the RPM value on my Stack Monitor incorrect?
    • S
      Stephen WolfeAug 30, 2025
If the displayed RPM value is too high or too low by a constant percentage, the system may be configured with the wrong number of engine cylinders (reconfigure system to correct number of cylinders) or the ignition system pulses per revolution are not the same as the number of cylinders (reconfigure system to correct number of pulses per revolution).

Why is my Stack Monitor display dim or showing a low battery warning?
    • N
      nhaysAug 29, 2025
If the display is dead (no backlight, nothing on display, green dial lights on but dim) or showing a low battery warning, the battery is almost dead (recharge or replace battery) or the power connection to B + or B - is faulty (check power lead continuity).

Why is the displayed speed value incorrect on my Stack Monitor?
    • K
      Kimberly GomezAug 28, 2025
If the displayed speed value is too high or too low by a constant percentage, the system may be configured with the wrong number of targets per wheel revolution. Reconfigure the system with the correct values.

How do I fix an external warning light that is dead on a Stack Monitor?
    • J
      Jose GutierrezAug 27, 2025
If the external warning light is dead while the display warning light is OK, the bulb may have burnt out (replace the bulb), there may be faulty wiring to the light (check continuity of wiring), or the driver circuitry may be burnt out (return unit).

Why is the tachometer reading erratic on my Stack Monitor?
    • D
      Deanna CaldwellAug 27, 2025
If the tachometer reading is erratic and the pointer jumps high or low, it could be due to incorrect wiring (reconnect the tachometer as specified in this manual) or a noisy signal from the ignition system or coil (condition the ES signal by placing a resistor in line with the ES wire).

    Justin ReyesAug 25, 2025
What to do if Stack Monitor display flashes and dial pointer resets?
    • J
      Jennifer MartinAug 26, 2025
If the display flashes and the dial pointer resets or vibrates, it could be due to an almost dead battery (recharge or replace it) or a faulty power connection to B + or B - (check power lead continuity).

    Danielle MartinezAug 25, 2025
How to troubleshoot no RPM speed reading on Stack Monitor?
    • B
      Brian MurrayAug 25, 2025
If there is no RPM speed reading, the cause may be incorrect wiring. Check the connection of the engine speed wire to the ignition system (or sensor, if used).
