4.1 Function
The control panels can be installed as components in Ex e control panels.
They are suitable for installation of motor protection circuit breakers in lighting and
heating panels. For direct cable entry into enclosures, flameproof cable glands
or threaded holes for conduit connection can be applied. For indirect cable entry,
enclosures with connection chambers of the type of protection "Increased Safety" e.g.
for Series 8146, 8125 and 8150 are used.
The standard control panels are designed without main switch, control transformer, main
and control fuses and without control and monitoring devices. These parts can be fitted
to order.
