How to fix a Stanley STSM1525 that makes unsatisfactory cuts?
- JJohn HaynesAug 10, 2025
If your Stanley Saw is making unsatisfactory cuts, it could be due to gum or pitch on the blade. Remove the blade and clean it with turpentine and coarse steel wool or household oven cleaner. Another reason might be that you are using the incorrect blade for the work you are doing. In this case, change the blade.
