Security modes provide protection for the vehicle against theft.
Additional modes are intended for adding new devices ("Device Registration" mode), disabling
security functions for vehicle servicing ("Service Mode"), and convenient system control ("Slave"
mode, "Hands-Free" mode).
Armed Mode
In "Armed" mode, the following zones are monitored:
Ignition
Doors
Trunk
Hood
To control the system using the remote key, a transceiver of 868 MHz must be installed.
