: Pull off the grommet (1), check it
and replace if necessary.
– Remove the short circuit wire
from the control handle, b 8.3
Installing
– Fit the short circuit wire in the
control handle, b 8.3
: Push grommet (1) into place so
that the recess (arrow) engages
the crankcase rib.

: Push the throttle cable (1) into
the guides (arrows) or attach it to
the retainers.
: Turn throttle shaft lever (2) in
direction of full throttle and
connect the throttle cable (1).
– Check throttle cable adjustment,
re-adjust if necessary, b 10.2
: Fit the cover (2), insert the
screws (3) and tighten them
down firmly.
: Push the throttle cable's
protective tube (1) into the guide
(arrow) so that it lines up with the
guide rib (2).

: Connect short circuit wire's flag
terminal (1) to the ignition
module (2) so that its flat side
faces outwards.
: Press the short circuit wire fully
into the guide (arrow).
: After fitting, push the flag
terminal (1) in direction of
cylinder as far as stop.
