: Slide (1) must be at the end of the
recess (arrow) – push the slide
into this position if necessary.
– Press down the lockout lever and
squeeze the throttle trigger to the
full throttle position – this sets the
throttle cable correctly and
moves the slide away from its
initial position.
– Check throttle cable adjustment
again.
If the travel of the slide is no longer
sufficient, it can be corrected with
the adjusting screw (1):
– Turn the adjusting screw
clockwise = throttle cable is
tensioned (opens throttle shutter
wider).
– Turn the adjusting screw
counterclockwise = throttle cable
is relaxed (reduces throttle
shutter opening)

Engine does not return to idle
speed – auger rotates in this
position
– Shut off the engine.
: Squeeze throttle trigger (1) all the
way and release it. The throttle
trigger (1) must automatically
return to its original position and
lever (2) on the throttle shaft must
butt against the idle speed screw
LA.
If this is not the case, perform the
following steps:
– Check throttle cable adjustment,
re-adjust if necessary
– Check freedom of movement of
throttle shaft. Remove and clean
throttle shaft if necessary or
replace carburetor.
– Check freedom of movement of
throttle cable and re-adjust if
necessary, b 8.2, b 8.3
– Fit cover on adjusting screws.
– Fit the shroud, b 7.2
