Fitting the Carrying Ring
A carrying ring is necessary if the power
tool is to be used with a shoulder
strap/harness. Not all versions of basic
power tools are equipped with a carrying
ring.
The carrying ring is available as a
special accessory and is mounted as
described below.
N Mount the carrying ring (1) at
distance A = about 5 cm (2 in) from
the control handle (2).
N Place the open carrying ring (1)
against the drive tube with the
tapped hole on the left (viewed from
engine).
N Squeeze the ends of the carrying
ring together and insert the M6x14
screw (3).
N Line up the carrying ring and tighten
down the screw firmly.
