Hold on to the control handle.

Depress the locking button (1) and hold it in
that position.
Pull or push the shaft (2) to the required posi‐
tion.
Release the locking button (1).
Move the control handle (2) back and forth
until it engages.
8.3 Adjusting the loop handle
The loop handle can be set in different positions
to suit the height and reach of the user.
Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.
Loosen the star knob nut (1).
Tilt the loop handle (2) to the required position.
Tighten down the star knob nut (1) firmly.
8.4 Converting the Brushcutter into
an Edger
Switch off the brushcutter and remove the bat‐
tery.

Depress the locking button (1) and hold it in
that position.
Rotate the control handle (2) by 90° until it
engages.
Release the locking button (1).
Depress the lever (4) and hold it in that posi‐
tion.
Tilt the shaft (3) to its flattest position until it
engages.
Release the lever (4).
9 Removing and Fitting the
Battery
9.1 Inserting the battery

Push the battery (1) into the battery compart‐
ment (2) as far as stop.
The battery (1) engages in position with a
click.
9.2 Removing the Battery

Depress both locking hooks (1).
The battery (2) is now unlocked and can be
removed.
