  If your Stihl Brush Cutter does not start when switched on, the battery may be too warm or too cold. Pull the connecting cable plug out of the socket and allow the battery to cool down or warm up. Alternatively, the brushcutter may be too hot. Pull the connecting cable plug out of the socket and allow the brushcutter to cool down. It is also possible that the brushcutter or battery is damp. Allow the brushcutter or battery to dry.

Alternatively, there may be an electrical fault. Try disconnecting the connecting cable plug from the socket and then reconnecting it.

  If the runtime of your Stihl Brush Cutter is too short, the battery may not be fully charged. Recharge the battery fully as described in the User Manual for the STIHL AL 101, 300, 500 chargers. Alternatively, the battery life may have been exceeded, in which case you should replace the battery.
