► Screw on the nut(1) counterclockwise and tighten it down
until the cutting attachment is properly and securely
attached.
► Remove the stop pin from the hole in the gearbox.
Cutting attachments with more than 4 cutting edges must be

NOTICE
After mounting or removing the cutting attachment, always
remove the stop pin used to block rotation of the drive shaft.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury from tripping or losing control of
the power tool, always secure the connecting cord through
the backpack guides and with the hook and eye fasteners as
described below. Position and secure the connecting cord
so that it will not interfere with proper working technique or
your ability to maintain control of the trimmer / brushcutter.
WARNING
Manage the cord to prevent it from contacting the cutting
attachment or catching on objects, which could cause you to
lose balance or control of the trimmer / brushcutter, resulting
in serious personal injury and property damage.
The connecting cord can be secured in different positions
and adjusted to suit the height and reach of the operator.
