  Your Stihl Trimmer might not start for several reasons: the battery's charge may be too low (charge the battery); the battery could be too warm or cold (remove the battery and allow it to cool down or warm up); the brushcutter might be too hot (remove the battery and allow the brushcutter to cool down); there may be a fault in the battery (remove and reinsert the battery); there could be no electrical contact between the brushcutter and battery (remove the battery and clean electrical contacts); the brushcutter or battery could be damp (allow the brushcutter or battery to dry); or the brushcutter may have a malfunction (remove the battery, clean electrical contacts, and reinsert the battery. If 3 LEDs flash red, contact a STIHL authorized dealer).
