English 12 Using a Battery Harness
WARNING
Manage the cord to prevent it from contacting the cutting
blades or catching on objects, which could cause you to lose
balance or control of the trimmer / brushcutter, resulting in
serious personal injury and property damage.
► Open the hook and eye fastener on the strap (1) and pull
the strap out of the ring(2).
► Pull the strap through the battery belt(3).
► Pull the strap(1) back through the ring(2) and battery
belt(3).
► Fasten the hook and eye fastener.
► Insert the AP battery (4) into the battery compartment(5).
► Secure the battery with the hook and eye fastener(6).
The length of the connecting cord can be adjusted by
making a loop(1) and securing it to the top of the battery
bag(3) with the hook and eye buckle(2).
► Always position and secure the connecting cord so that it
will not interfere with proper working technique or your
ability to maintain control of the power tool.
12.3.2 Putting on and Adjusting the Single Harness
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control and contact
with the cutting attachment, always wear a proper harness
when working with a metal cutting attachment, @ 25.
