Observe the safety advice concerning
flying objects and associated meas‐

Remove the battery during work stop‐
pages, transport, storage, maintenance
or repair.
Protect brushcutter and charger from
rain and dampness.

4.2 Intended Use
The STIHL FSA 60 R brushcutter is designed for
mowing grass.
Never use the brushcutter in the rain.
The STIHL AK battery feeds the brushcutter with
power.
The STIHL AL 101 charger is used to charge the
STIHL AK battery.
WARNING
■ There is a risk that batteries and chargers that
are not explicitly approved by STIHL for the
brushcutter can cause fire or explosion. Per‐
sons may be seriously or fatally injured and
property may be damaged.

Use the brushcutter with a STIHL AK battery.
►Recharge the STIHL AK bat‐
tery with a STIHL AL 101,
AL 300 or AL 500 charger.
