Why does my Stihl HLA 135 Trimmer runtime is too short?

  A short runtime for your Stihl Trimmer can occur if the battery is not fully charged; recharge the battery fully as described in the instruction manual for the STIHL AL 101, 300, 500 chargers. It could also be that the normal battery life has been exceeded, requiring you to replace the battery.
