NOTICE
A full chain oil tank is sufficient for only
half a tankful of fuel. Check the oil level
regularly during cutting work. Never
allow the oil tank to run dry.
Preparations
N Thoroughly clean the oil filler cap
and the area around it to ensure that
no dirt falls into the tank.
N Position the machine so that the
filler cap faces up.
Opening
N Raise the grip until it is upright.
N Turn the cap counterclockwise
(about a quarter turn).
Marks on filler cap and oil tank must line
up.
N Remove the cap.
Filling up with chain oil
N Filling up with chain oil
Take care not to spill chain oil while
refilling and do not overfill the tank.
Closing
Grip must be vertical:
N Fit the cap – marks on filler cap and
oil tank must line up.
N Press the cap down as far as stop.
