13 Operating the Lawn Mower
12.3 Testing the Battery
► Press button on battery.
The LEDs glow or flash.
► If the LEDs do not glow or flash: Do not use the battery
and contact your STIHL servicing dealer.
There is a malfunction in the battery.
13.1 Holding and Controlling the Mower
► Hold the handle firmly with both hands and wrap your
thumbs around the handle.
13.2 Adjusting Cutting Height
Seven cutting heights can be selected to suit the application:
–35mm = Position 1
–50mm = Position 2
–63mm = Position 3
–74mm = Position 4
–83mm = Position 5
–90mm = Position 6
–98mm = Position 7
The positions are marked on the mower.
► Pull the lever (1) out of the notch and move it to the
required position.
13.3 Switching on ECO Mode
When the ECO mode is switched on, the mower detects the
current operating conditions and automatic selects the most
suitable cutting blade speed.
This helps extend the battery runtime.
► Open the lid (1) as far as stop and hold it there.
► Set the ECO switch (2) to I.
► Close the lid (1).
