Fault:
Display in a foreign language
Possible cause:
– Language setting has been changed
Remedy:
– Set the language (Ö 11.10)
Fault:
Brown (earthy) patches appear in the
mowing area
Possible cause:
– Mowing duration is too long in relation
to the mowing area
– Perimeter wire has been routed with
excessively tight radii
– Size of mowing area set incorrectly
Remedy:
– Reduce the mowing duration (Ö 11.7)
– Correct the routing of the perimeter wire
(Ö 12.)
– Create a new mowing plan (Ö 11.7)
Fault:
Mowing operations are significantly
shorter than usual
Possible cause:
– Grass is very high or too wet
– Machine (mowing deck, drive wheels) is
very dirty
– Battery has reached end of service life
Remedy:
– Adjust the cutting height (Ö 9.5)
Set the rain sensor (Ö 11.11)
Change the active times (Ö 11.7)
– Clean the machine (Ö 16.2)
– Replace the battery – observe
corresponding recommendation in the
display (#), (Ö 23.)
Fault:
The robotic mower is docked, the battery is
not charging
Possible cause:
– Battery does not need to be charged
– Docking station not connected to power
supply
– Incorrect docking
– Charging contacts corroded
– Power supply unit defective
Remedy:
– No action necessary – battery charging
occurs automatically below a certain
voltage
– Check power supply to the docking
station (Ö 9.8)
– Place the robotic mower in the mowing
area and send it back to the docking
station (Ö 11.6), check for correct
docking – if necessary, correct the
position of the docking station (Ö 9.1)
– Replace the charging contacts (#)
– Disconnect the power supply and
contact your STIHL specialist dealer
(#)
Fault:
Docking not working
Possible cause:
– Uneven entry area to docking station
– Uneven areas around or underneath
docking station floor plate
– Docking station floor plate bent
– Dirty drive wheels or dirty floor plate
– Perimeter wire incorrectly routed in
area of docking station
– Ends of perimeter wire not cut
Remedy:
– Level out entry area to docking station
(Ö 9.1)
– Level out uneven areas around or
underneath docking station floor plate
(Ö 9.1)
– Ensure that floor plate is level and flat
(Ö 9.1)
– Clean drive wheels and docking station
floor plate (Ö 16.2)
– Re-route perimeter wire – ensure
correct routing in area of docking
station (Ö 9.9)
– Cut perimeter wire as described and
route it without excess length – do not
roll up protruding ends (Ö 9.11)
Fault:
The robotic mower travels past the
docking station or docks at an angle
Possible cause:
– Wire signal affected by environmental
influences
– Perimeter wire incorrectly routed in
area of docking station
Remedy:
– Link robotic mower and docking station
again – ensure that robotic mower is in
correct alignment to docking station
(Ö 11.15)
– Re-route perimeter wire – ensure
correct routing in area of docking
station (Ö 9.9)
Check for correct connection of
perimeter wire ends in docking station
(Ö 9.11)
Fault:
The robotic mower has crossed the
perimeter wire
Possible cause:
– Perimeter wire incorrectly routed,
clearances are not correct
– Slope inclination of mowing area too
steep
