INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO STARTUP
1. Follow startup instructions in CAT engine
manual.
2. Remove plugs and blind flanges where
tagged. Unseal blowdown valve(s) and relief
valves.
3. Remove desiccant bags; ensure count is
same as noted at installation.
4. Replace: Air filters, Flexible joint between
interstage hard piping, and second stage air
intake, Blowdown muffler(s), sump breather
5. Fill sump to level with specified oil.
6. Rotate manually in direction of rotation;
ensure machine rotates freely.
7. Follow manual for normal startup procedure.
