What to do if my Sunpak S34?TSR Patio Heater burner won’t light?
    • J
      juliecrosbyJul 26, 2025
If your Sunpak Patio Heater burner won’t light, there might be several reasons: * There may be air in the gas line. * The gas pressure might be low. * The gas valve could be bad. * The manual gas valve may be turned “OFF”. In this case, turn the valve handle to the full “ON” position. * The manual gas valve may not be fully “ON”. Turn the valve handle to the full “ON” position. * The burner orifice may be plugged. To resolve this, remove the heater top, then remove the burner orifice (using a ½” hex wrench) and clean it thoroughly.

What does it mean when my Sunpak Patio Heater module has four “beeps” every one second?
    • C
      Christopher WilsonAug 12, 2025
Four beeps every one second warns that the pilot flame sensor detects a pilot flame already present when the ignition sequence is initiated, or the pilot flame sensor on the main control module is shorted to ground. To fix this, adjust the sensor electrode to 3/16” for the pilot hood and 3/8” from the spark electrode, ensuring the electrode is within the flame zone.

Why is the front grill of my Sunpak S34?TSR Patio Heater deteriorating?
    • B
      Brandy MorrisAug 17, 2025
The Sunpak heater must be installed in such a manner as to allow the products of combustion or hot gases to vent out the top of the heater. When operating normally, only radiant heat passes through the front grill. If conditions exist which force hot gases through the front grill of the heater, the installation must be altered to correct the condition.
