Why does the thread keep breaking on my SunStar KM-235B?

Thread breakage can occur for several reasons: * The threading may be incorrect: Thread the needle correctly. * The needle may be bent or have a broken tip: Change the needle. * The needle may be inserted incorrectly: Insert the needle correctly. * The upper thread tension may be too tight: Reduce tension of upper thread. * The lower thread tension may be too loose: Reduce tension of lower thread. * The upper thread may be loose: Adjust take-up lever spring.
