heating installer or service technician only.

IMPORTANT

 The booster heater must be installed in accordance with all applicable

national, provincial/state, and local codes, laws, regulations, and

ordinances.

 Carefully read this manual. This manual must be left with the owner and

should be located adjacent to the booster for reference.

 Ensure booster heater is full of water before turning on electricity.

Elements will burn out immediately without water in the booster heater.

 Booster heater voltage must be correct for voltage available. Check

nameplate on the booster heater for full information.

 Overcurrent protection between the power supply and the booster heater

must be provided in accordance with the national and/or local codes.

 Always ensure power switch is turned off before servicing.

 Under no circumstances should any electrical wiring or internal controls be

touched, except by a qualified electrician or any heating system be

adjusted, except by a qualified service technician.

How to adjust the temperature on a Super Hot 304B Water Heater?

  If the temperature of your Super Hot Water Heater is too low or too high, start by removing the booster heater front panel and adjusting the thermostat to the correct setting. Check the thermometer during the rinse cycle. If the machine is cold, run the rinse cycle twice before checking the temperature, which should reach 180ºF – 185ºF (82ºC – 85ºC). If adjusting the thermostat doesn't solve the problem, the thermostat may be defective and require replacement.

Why is the rinse water temperature still too low on my Super Hot 304B Water Heater?

  If the rinse water temperature remains too low during continuous use with your Super Hot Water Heater, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the water supply to the booster heater is at least 140ºF (60ºC). If it's lower, increase the incoming water temperature at the hot water supply tank. Also, check the pressure setting of the pressure reducing valve (PRV); it should be adjusted to the dishwasher's specifications, typically between 20 – 25 p.s.i. Verify that the thermometer on the dishwasher is functioning correctly by tapping the gauge during the rinse cycle. If the needle doesn't move freely, contact the dishwasher manufacturer. Additionally, if the booster heater is more than 3 ft from the dishwasher, insulate the pipe or relocate the heater closer. Finally, turn off the ele...
