Like any sport, riding an electric balance bike involves risks, including a risk of injury, and it
is the riders and their parent’s or guardian’s responsibilities to assume potential risks when
riding. By choosing to ride an electric balance bike, the rider and their parent or guardian
assume the responsibility for that risk and need to know and comply with all applicable

reduces the risk of injury, but does not eliminate the risk.

manage traffic, road conditions, hazards, and situations that require quick responses.

which the electric balance bike is used. If an illness, impairment, or disability (i.e... visual

seizure disorder, etc.), make sure to consult your physician before riding any electric
balance bike.
Don’t use music devices such as headphones while riding. This will restrict hearing and
impair your awareness of your surrounding environment.

lighting conditions, among other variables.
Pay attention to the path ahead. Avoid potholes, gravel, wet or oily roads, curbs, train
tracks, speed bumps, and other obstacles.

Familiarize yourself with all of the electric balance bike’s features. Practice using the
brake and throttle.
Wear proper riding clothes and avoid wearing open-toe shoes.
Never use a phone while simultaneously riding the electrical balance bike.
