6.2 Startup
Before lighting the stove check that the burner is pushed back
towards the shield.
For the stove’s first ignition - also when it has been out of use for
some time - we recommend that you do not r
un the stove at full
power. For the first few days running at medium power is recom-
mended, to allow all components and mechanical par
ts a r
unning
in period.
Upon first ignitions certain odours may be given off due to the
evaporation of paint or grease. To alleviate the problem merely air
the room, thus avoiding the prolonged exposure which may render
these emissions har
mful to people or animals.
When the fuel tank is loaded for the first time the fuel-loading chute
has to fill up; during this period the pellets will not be fed into the
combustion chamber.
