Storage Drives
The SC827BHQ chassis supports twelve 3.5" storage drives (HDDs or SSDs). Each node
controls three NVMe/SAS drives.
For M.2 SSD storage, see the next section.
Note: Enterprise level hard disk drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and
servers. For information on recommended HDDs, see the Supermicro website.
