Power Performance Tuning (Available when "Power Technology" is set to Custom)
Select BIOS Controls EPB to allow the system BIOS to congure Power-Performance
Tuning Bias settings. The options are BIOS Controls EPB and OS Controls EPB.
ENERGY_PERF_BIAS_CFG Mode (ENERGY PERFORMANCE BIAS
CONFIGURATION Mode) (Available when "Power Performance Tuning" is set to
BIOS Controls EPB)
Use this feature to congure the proper operation setting for your machine by achieving the
desired system performance level and energy saving (efciency) level at the same time.
Select Maximum Performance to maximize system performance; however, this may cause
maximum power consumption. The options are Maximum Performance, Performance,
Balanced Performance, Balanced Power, and Power.
CPU P State Control (Available when "Power Technology" is set
to Custom)
SpeedStep (P-States)
EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) allows the system to automatically adjust
processor voltage and core frequency for power consumption and heat dissipation reduction.
Please refer to Intel’s website for detailed information. The options are Disable and Enable.
AVX P1 (Not available when "SpeedStep (P-states)" is set to Disable)
Select Nominal for the Intel® Advance Vector Extensions (Intel® AVX) feature to operate
at the nominal level, which will provide a set of instructions for doing Single Instruction
Multiple Data (SIMD) operations in Intel processors by adding MMX and SSE support. The
options are Nominal, Level 1, and Level 2.
Dynamic SST-PP (Speed Select Technology-Performance Prole)
If this feature is set to Enable, the user will be able to congure Intel SST-PP features,
including Base, Conguration 1, and Conguration 2 settings under various processor
working conditions. The options are Disable and Enable.
Intel SST-PP (Speed Select Technology-Performance Prole)
Use this item to choose from two additional Base-Frequency conditions maximum for CPU P
State Control. The options are Base, Cong (Conguration) 1, and Cong (Conguration) 2.
Activate SST-BF (Speed Select Technology-Base Frequency)
Select Enable to support Intel Speed Select Technology-Base Frequency. The options are
Disable and Enable.
Congure SST-BF (Available when Activate SST-BF is set to Enable)
When this feature is set to Enable, the system BIOS will congure SST-BF High Priority
Core settings so that system software does not have to congure these settings. The
options are Enable and Disable.
