4.7 Boot
Use this feature to congure Boot Settings:
Boot Mode Select
Use this feature to select the type of devices from which the system will boot. The options
are LEGACY, UEFI (Unied Extensible Firmware Interface), and Dual.
Note: When the Boot Mode Select feature above is set to Dual, be sure to set all
OPROM-related settings to Legacy.
Fixed Boot Order Priorities
This feature prioritizes the order of a bootable device from which the system will boot. Press
<Enter> on each item sequentially to select devices.
When the feature "Boot Mode Select" is set to Dual (default), the following items will be
displayed for the user to congure the boot settings:
• Boot Option #1 ~ Boot Option #17
When the feature "Boot Mode Select" is set to Legacy, the following items will be displayed
for conguration:
• Boot Option #1 ~ Boot Option #8
When the feature "Boot Mode Select" is set to UEFI, the following items will be displayed
for conguration:
• Boot Option #1 ~ Boot Option #9
