Preparing the CPU Socket for Installation
This motherboard comes with a plastic protective cover installed on the CPU socket. Remove
it from the socket to install the Processor Heatsink Module (PHM). Gently pull up one corner
of the plastic protective cover to remove it.

Socket Pins
Remove the plastic protective
cover from the CPU socket.
Do not touch or bend
the socket pins.
