The AMIBIOS:
• supports Plug and Play V1.0A and DMI 2.1
• supports Intel PCI 2.1 (Peripheral Component Interconnect) local bus
specification
• supports Advanced Power Management (APM) specification v 1.1
• supports xACP2
• supports Flash ROM.
AMIBIOS supports the LS120 drive made by Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics
Industries Ltd. The LS120:
• can be used as a boot device
• is accessible as the next available floppy drive.
AMIBIOS supports PC Health Monitoring chips. When a failure occurs in a
monitored activity, AMIBIOS can sound an alarm and display a message. The
PC Health Monitoring chips monitor:
• CPU temperature
• additional temperature sensors
• chassis intrusion detector
• five positive voltage inputs
• two negative voltage inputs
• three fan speed monitoring inputs.
