e Remove the gearshift cam stopper spring.
NOTE:
Before removing the gearshift cam (), remove
the neutral switch. Do not lose the switch
contact and its spring.
@ Draw out the gearshift fork shafts @, and then
remove the gearshift forks @), countershaft
assembly (3), driveshaft assembly @) and gear-
shift cam ©.
e@ Remove the kick starter shaft return spring, then
drive out the kick starter shaft with a plastic
hammer.
e Remove the front and rear balancershafts by i =)
using the special tools.
