7-8 CHASSIS
REAR FENDER
• Remove the seat. (%7-6)
• Remove the fuel tank cover. (%7-6)
• Remove the rear fender
1 by removing the mounting screws.
INSTALLATION
Install the exterior parts in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
FOOTREST
• Apply THREAD LOCK “1342” to the bolts and tighten bolts to
the specified torque.
5 99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1342”
" Footrest mounting bolt: 55 N·m (5.5 kgf-m, 40.0 lb-ft)
MUD GUARD REINFORCEMENT
• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER “1322” to the mud guard rein-
forcement mounting bolts.
* 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1322”
(or equivalent thread lock)
REAR FENDER AND FOOTREST MUD GUARD
• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER “1322” to the rear fender
mounting screws and footrest mud guard mounting screws.
